In Piccadilly Circus people congregate beneath the symbolic figure of
Eros, the Greek god of love. Piccadilly Circus has changed greatly
in recent years and consists mostly of shopping malls. The circus
has London's gaudiest collection of neon signs marking the entrance to the
city's lively entertainment district with cinemas, theaters, night clubs,
gambling casinos, and pubs.
