The London Eye

The British Airways London Eye is a 443-foot high observation wheel.  It was erected in London during 2000 as part of the millennium celebration and has become one of the city's most recognizable landmarks.  Thirty-two capsules, each holding up to 25 people, take a 30-minute round trip to complete.  Timed tickets can be purchased for roughly 18 pounds or 27 dollars. The lines for this attraction can be long.
