Clarence House

With a view overlooking the mall, Clarence House was designed in 1827 by John Nash for Queen Victoria's predecessor, William IV.
The interior was restored in 1949 for Princess Elizabeth, who occupied the home until 1952.  Princess Anne was born here and it was the London home of the Queen Mother until her death in 2002.  It is now the official London residence of the Prince of Wales.
